One exception to the broad adoption of SIMULA concepts is the notion of an active Object with its own action sequence.
In Simula any 'block' can be prefixed upwards to an Object, including concurrency.
Also 'inner;' hasn't been implemented in current programming languages.

Five political platform plank ideas for our U.S. democracy.
1) Reduce the DOD budget by 10% every year for the next four years.
2) Raise the gas tax twenty cents every year for the next four years, with the states allowed half.
3) Follow the lead of my home state of WA in legalizing all marriages and cannabis.
4) Reinforce the 2nd amendment by requiring that any gun owner be a registered member of a Militia.
5) Increase the amount of funding given globally to planned parenthood by ten fold.
What OWS needs to do... call for a U.S. Constitutional Convention to accomplish three amendments.
1) Abolish the Electoral College.
2) Require Supreme Court Justices to be re-appointed every 12 years.
3) Redefine the US Senate to consist of Senators allocated by the distribution of the State's Representative Count mod 5 plus 1. For example California, with 53 Representatives would be allocated 11 Senators, TX 8, NY 5, WA 3 ... Wyoming 1.
For a total of 114 Senators.
This would still give rural states a disproportionate representation, just not so incorrectly distorted.
